Frequently asked questions

We know this is annoying and we are sorry!!! Please still come.

Here’s someone who can empathize:

Oh wow, bold of you to skip the juicy part on the main page. 🙃

But sure, feel free to click on our logo (yes, up there in the header) and scroll a bit down on the main site, where you’ll find the section with all the romantic drama, witty banter, and possibly one or two questionable hairstyle choices.

We worked hard on it. Don’t make us tell the story twice

Your presence will surely be missed. If you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “will NOT attend”, that way we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

We totally understand — at first glance, the price might look higher than what you’d expect for just a hotel stay. But this isn’t your average “wedding and done” kind of day — it’s a full weekend experience!

The package already includes:
✨ Two nights in a lovely 4-star hotel
✨ Friday’s welcome dinner with drinks
✨ Daily breakfast and Saturday lunch
✨ Full shuttle service between hotel and venue
✨ And, of course, the organization and setup of our private pool area

If you add all that up yourself — two nights at a nice hotel, multiple meals with drinks, transport, and all the planning behind it — you’ll see that it’s actually quite a fair deal.

And just to clarify: the wedding ceremony itself, the dinner, party, and DJ are not part of this price!

So yes, it’s more than a hotel stay… it’s your all-inclusive “sip, swim & celebrate” weekend with us. 💕

We totally get the urge to be a little adventurous with your accommodation! However, to keep things simple and comfy for everyone—and because our shuttle service only runs between the official hotel and the venue—we’ve put together a special package that covers your hotel stay, pool access, meals, beverages, shuttle rides, and our pre-wedding dinner fun.

We promise, it’s not to be inflexible—it’s just to make the whole weekend as smooth, easy, and enjoyable as possible for you (and for us, too!).

We would really love to have you with us for the full weekend—it’s the best way to celebrate together, relax, and create memories. The Full Weekend Experience is a great value and takes care of everything, so you can just show up and enjoy!

You can state your desire to stay somewhere else and we will let you know the availability. We would like to prioritize our friends and family choosing the “Full weekend Experience”.

Yes, of course! For the sake of our sanity (and so we know how many pizzas and bottles of prosecco to order), please RSVP by December 14th 2025. We promise not to send you any “are you coming?” texts… until January.

We love your little ones! However, please note that we haven’t arranged any dedicated kids’ activities or food menu and the events are not “baby proof”. This means you will have to watch them at all times.  You’re welcome to bring them, but you might want to plan accordingly.

We will arrange a babysitter for you during the ceremony and dinner so parents can relax, enjoy, and celebrate with us—knowing the little ones are in good hands. Unfortunately, kids will not be allowed during this time of the event. This way you get a stress-free evening (and maybe an extra glass of wine) while we all party together! Note that the babysitter will cost around 150€.

To give you peace of mind, we’ll share all the details once everything is booked, send out a quick questionnaire, and even arrange a video call with the nanny beforehand. That way you (and your little ones) will feel comfortable and cared for while you enjoy the party stress-free.

Please contact us if you need more information.

We kindly ask you to refer to your wedding invitation — it lists the guests we’ve reserved a spot for by name.

For any additional guests you want to take with you please fill out the RSVP accordingly. For any new free spots we will invite those on a “first come first serve” basis.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a spot for guests not explicitly invited due to the maximum number of guests allowed stated by the venue. However, there is no maximum number of guests for the events of the cake cutting and the party! Everybody is welcome after dinner!

If anything is unclear or you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. We’re happy to help!

As much as we love tutorials on doggy bow ties and kitty tiaras, our venue has a strict “two-legged guests only” policy. We promise your furry (or scaly) friend will understand… once you tell them the cake is off-limits anyway!

We don’t want to have any pets with us on our premises. However, if you’re traveling with your pet, we’ll happily book your stay at the nearby Hotel Villa Bartolomea, which is pet-friendly and set up to welcome them, but won´t be allowed in Tenuta la Pila.

If you need a dog-/cat-/parrotsitter, please contact us and we are happy to find the best solution for you!

Great question which got a dedicated answer for you here:  Location

Most simple answer: See above.

Other simple answer: You can’t—camping isn’t allowed on the premises, no matter how much you love your tent (or your van, or your hammock). We promise it’s not because we don’t love nature, too!

Instead, we highly recommend booking the hotel with us. Not only will you enjoy the full weekend experience—think endless food, good times, and zero FOMO—but you’ll also have a comfy bed and our handy transfer shuttle to whisk you between the hotel and the wedding venue.

Trust us, your future self will thank you.

We’ve put together a simple package so you don’t have to think about anything but having fun.

Prices depend on whether you’re coming solo or with your +1. You can also share rooms with other friends attending the wedding.

Each guest stays in a comfy double room at Hotel Villa Bartolomea  (or Tenuta La Pila), and the package covers it all: shuttles to and from the venue, hearty breakfasts, the rehearsal dinner, Saturday’s pool party (with lifeguard on duty, don’t worry!), and even lunch. For the little ones, a discounted prices was set up to account for a babysitter to have a relaxing and undisturbed ceremony and dinner.

One price, zero stress—just show up and celebrate with us! For more information see the “Accommodations & Experience” Page.

We will send you the payment details with the RSVP confirmation.

Alternately, you can use the following link, use Paypal (@ReyesDittrich) or via bank transfer (see above).

We totally understand that sometimes plans can change.

To secure your spot, we kindly ask for payment as soon as possible so we can confirm your attendance and move forward with the planning.

If you need to cancel, don’t worry — you’ll receive a full refund if you let us know before March 1st

After that date, we can still refund 50% of your contribution, since by then the hotel and caterers will have locked in their numbers.

Sufficient!

However, we advise you to get in contact with us if you arrive with your Truck.

Please be aware that the wedding venue does not provide any charging stations for electric vehicles.

Yes, there’s a dress code. Yes, it’s all white. And yes, we know — you’re already panicking about wine spills. 😅

But trust us — everyone dressed in white under the summer lights looks absolutely magical. Think relaxed, chic, and a little bit angelic (before the Spritz kicks in). 🤍✨

All the details here: https://dittrich-reyes.com/dress-code — embrace the white vibes or risk being the only dark spot in the photos!

You know that moment in front of your closet thinking, “Wait… what do you even wear to an Italian wedding?” Don’t worry — we’ve got you.

We put together a dress code page just for this very dilemma: “Dress Code”

Have a peek, follow the vibe, and you’ll look bellissimo/a in the photos.

Grazie mille in advance!

We will be having an “unplugged ceremony”, meaning no phones or cameras. We have hired professionals to capture these precious moments for us and promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them! After the ceremony, feel free to take & post as many pictures/videos as you would like.

Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag:

What kind of FAQ is that?
And, DO YOU EVEN KNOW US? YES, OF COURSE.

Oh. Oh boy. OH BOY! Don’t you worry. We’ve got this covered.

Agree to disagree.

Of course there will be—this is Italy, after all! Drinks will be flowing throughout the celebration, with plenty of wine, prosecco, spritz, and more included.

So yes, your glass will always be full and the dance floor will be well-fueled!

Curious about what Italy has in store in May? Check out the climate diagram below for all the juicy weather stats (because who doesn’t love a good graph? “But it is in German” – I know, ugh).

We’ll share the actual weather forecast a few days before the big day—so you can plan your outfit and frizz strategy accordingly. Stay tuned!

VERONA WEATHER

Absolutely not! Consider it part of the charm — we call it bilingual creativity. But if your inner grammar hero can’t let it go, please do tell us! You can message us through the usual channels (WhatsApp, email, or carrier pigeon). We’ll fix it faster than Fabian can finish an Aperol.

Sure! Reach out to our bridesmaid Andrea Mas (+51967555379) or our groomsman Fabian Gemeinhardt (+4915150574290) or for the organization of games, speeches etc. during or after the dinner. For general questions reach out to fdittrich.mreyes@gmail.com (alternatively just contact us via phone).
